Lucia has 25 years of experience in interior design with Star Furniture! She moved to Texas after receiving her interior design degree from Southeast Missouri State, and is licensed in the state of Texas. Before joining Star, she spent six years specializing in residential lighting.

She exudes confidence that comes from her work experience. NASA gave her the honor of helping furnish the astronauts' quarantine living facility. She has had many office and commercial clients, but her primary client is residential.

Lucia will work with people in the way that is easiest for them. For out-of-state clients with a Galveston condo, she relied on email and cell phones to send pictures and communicate ideas.

She describes her style as KIS: "Keep It Simple." "A room is tiring if your eye is bouncing from one thing to another. Changing a room's lighting is often overlooked, but vital to the design and ambiance," Gentry says. Her attention to customers' needs shows in her repeat business and referrals.

Gentry has lived in the Bay Area since '87, is married to a native Texan and has three children, teen aged to adult. In addition to designing interiors for her guests from Star, she is active with her community, sports and keeping up with her family's activities. Like most of her clients, her full lifestyle calls for a home that offers peace and comfort.
