Karen earned her degree in interior design while living in New Orleans, Louisiana. She began working with local contractors there, and has since designed residential interiors in Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, California, Malaysia and Greece.

As a San Fransisco resident, Karen was hired by the international design firm Bent Severin and Associates, with whom she worked for several years, both in the U.S. and overseas.

Karen expanded her range of experience to include commercial hospitality design. Her projects include designing interiors for five-star deluxe hotels, condominiums and resorts for world-renowned clients throughout Malaysia, Singapore, China and India. She currently resides and designs residences in Houston, Texas.
