NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT AGREEMENT TO HOLD MERCHANDISEThere is a non-refundable fee that is earned when merchandise is stored in Star’s warehouse for more than 30 days and later canceled by the customer. A deposit of 25% of the purchase price is required in order to place the merchandise in storage. Maximum length of time the merchandise can be kept in storage is 120 days. If the customer for any reason cancels the order after 30 days the deposit is forfeited and may not be applied to a subsequent purchase. This fee will be waived in its entirety when the customer accepts the merchandise within the time period described herein.
This agreement may be extended for a maximum of 60 additional days with an additional non-refundable deposit of 10% of the purchase price. Any alteration in the agreement must be described and signed by Star’s management and the customer.
Our price protection policy is as follows:".....if you find the identical item at any other store in Texas for less than our price, within 21 days of purchase, simply bring us the ad or other verification and we will refund the difference plus 10% of that difference. Offers to special orders do not apply."
EVERY ITEM STAR FURNITURE SELLS IS WARRANTED AGAINST DEFECTS IN MATERIAL OR WORKMANSHIP. THE WARRANTY PERIOD IS TWELVE (12) MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE.
