I do a fair amount of traveling, and now, even when I'm in the nicest hotels, I cannot wait to get back to my own bed.
Amazing

It's just been an amazing transition from sleeping on a regular mattress, and going to a Tempur-Pedic. It's just something you can never go back to again.

Chronic Back Pain
By: CLD on 2/26/2009
I've had two spinal surgeries (12 and 11 years ago) after a sports related injury, 15 years ago, both of which stabalized various parts of my problematic anatomy that was mechanically "unstable". Although stabalizing the bone, etc. in my spine, my pain condition only changed and worsened. I was nearing my wits end, with the major problematic chronic pain (that I had been suffering by this time, ten years). I also discovered that I had other congenital spinal disorders that I never knew about until I had all the diagnostic tests of my spine after my injury. These were never problematic until older age arrived.Specifically- two disorders, one called "spinal stenosis" (aka, narrowing of the spinal canal, or the space around the spinal cord), as well as the second, which was the early termination (or anatomically premature ending; higher than should be) of my "Cauda Equina" which is the anatomic place where the spinal-cord ends, but where the cord divides into a number of nerves, known as "nerve roots" that continue down your spine and a pair exit's the spinal column, at every level of spine between each of the vetrebral bodies (levels of vetebral bones). This is when my wife and I decided to be pro-active and we saved and spent the money on a Temperpedic Bed. Not only did I begin to sleep better the very first night (it took my wife about five or six nights to get used to the difference) but we soon asked ourselved, why did we wait so long to make this investment. With a 20 year warranty, and a free 90 night trial, we knew we had nothing to loose. I can say, it has been a life changing experience and I don't know what I would do without our bed. It has been worth every penny. In fact, we had bought a bed for $1350 only a year and a half before to replace our first bed we bought when we first were married, but at ten years. We bought a nice expensive "Spring-Air" pillow top matrice. It was a good bed, but compared to the Tempurpedic, its not even fair to try and make a comparison. Since we all spend nearly 60% of all our time in bed, it should be something everyone should invest in. People care more about the car they drive for only a few hours each week, but they don't think much about the bed they lay in and sleep in every night.DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, BUY THE TEMPURPEDIC BED!!!!!
